Synopsis:
This series presents one-act plays, both adaptations of Broadway plays and
original dramas and comedies, starring theatre and movie personalities
supported by Broadway actors and actresses. This program presents the
story of the mysterious death of a famous movie actor on a transcontinental
airplane flight. Each of his traveling companions, including Avila Grayson, his
estranged wife, Joe Golden, his public relations man, Bill Grantz, his writer, and
Jerome Lawson, a has-been actor and gambler, have a motive for killing him.
Golden takes charge of questioning all the suspects while they are still aboard the
plane. Just as the plane is landing, the killer is revealed to be Helen, the stewardess,
who holds a longstanding grudge against the star. [RF]
