Synopsis:
Comedy about David Abbott and his trials and tribulations living with his wife,
two daughters, mother-in-law, housekeeper and female dog. When everyone in
the household does something to annoy him, David retreats to a haven he has
created in the attic, and he won’t come downstairs.
Synopsis 2:
Poor David Abbott is the long-suffering husband living with his wife, two
daughters,
mother-in-law, housekeeper and the female dog. David is upset with all the
money his family is spending and the bills that are piling up. So he decides
to pretend that he is bankrupt so they will stop spending so much. The family
then tries to figure out some ways to make money
to help David out.
(Syndication airing on Personal Appearance Theatre 10Oct1951.)
*Note: This program was, in effect, a pilot for a proposed series which was not
sold.
