United States Steel's initial venture into broadcast drama had been on ABC Radio in 1945.

Under the title "The Theatre Guild on the Air".

US Steel Hour aired on alternate weeks with other dramatic series'.

Armstrong Circle, then Twentieth Century Fox Hour, then

Executive Producer: Marshall Jamison (1956-1958)

Won the Emmy in 1953 for Best Dramatic Program

and an Emmy for Best New Program (a tie with Make Room for Daddy)

Won the Emmy in 1954 for Best Dramatic Program

Synopsis:
